Persons encouraged to get in shape with BTVI's Fun Run/Walk

For the fourth consecutive year, the Bahamas Technical and Vocational Institute (BTVI) is seeking to help staff, faculty, students and the general public get in shape by staging in its annual fun run/walk. The event is set for this Saturday, starting at 6 a.m. from BTVI’s campus on Old Trail Road.
Each year, the event has approximately 100 participants. BTVI is encouraging the public to get involved, making steps to a healthier lifestyle.
BTVI’s Associate Vice President of Fund Development Alicia Thompson said the institution is seeking to raise the consciousness of how invaluable healthy living is.
