Diocesan Bishop Ellis J. Farrington and Mother Daisy Farrington, officers and members of The Bahamas and Turks & Caicos Council, the 39th Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World is pleased to host the International Bishop Board of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Spring Meeting 2018, which will convene during their 69th Annual Council Convention March, 18th-24th,2018, at Transformation Ministries International, #11 Dignity Gardens and Grand Hyatt, BahaMar Resort.

The Pentecostal Assemblies of the World is the oldest apostolic Pentecostal church organization. As with most modern Pentecostal organizations, the P.A.W.'s scriptural roots can be traced to the New Testament "Day of Pentecost" in 33 A.D (Acts of the Apostles, Chapter 2).

Its modern day roots are connected to a religious revival of this biblical revelation that began in the United States in the late 1800s. This revival expanded into a full-fledged movement in 1906 at Los Angeles' Azusa Street Mission, with meetings led by William Seymour.

The Bahamas and Turks & Caicos Council is scheduled to begin its Annual Convention, under the theme “Apostolic Explosion 2018” on Sunday morning, 18th March, 2018 at Transformation Ministries International at 11:00.

Diocesan Bishop Ellis J. Farrington will deliverer the keynote message and the service will be broadcast live over ZNS 1540 AM and livestream at Transformation Ministries International. Evening services will begin at 7:30 promptly.

It is expected that Presiding Prelate Charles H. Ellis III, and some sixty (plus) International Bishops will meet in day sessions beginning Wednesday March 21st- Friday March 23rd at the Grand Hyatt, BahaMar.

Significantly, this will be only the second time in its existence that the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW) Bishop Board have held their meetings outside of the United States and in the beautiful Islands of the Bahamas.

The Bahamas’ State Council would have hosted this event some 25 years ago in 1992. Further, it comes at a time when The Bahamas State Council has extended its territorial jurisdiction to the Turks & Caicos Island.

The Evening Services will feature a number of international Apostolic Bishops with the featured Speaker being International Presiding Prelate Charles Ellis III of The Word Network, who will speak at the Official Service on Wednesday, 18th March, 2018.

Other Speakers will include: special guest speaker, Presiding Bishop Lambert E. Gates, of Pentecostal Churches of the Apostolic Faith PCAF), 1st Presiding Prelate of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Bishop Richard E. Young, former presiding Bishop Horace E.
