From the moment the Government signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the sale of a 51 per cent stake in the Bahamas Telecommunications Company to Cable & Wireless Communications (CWC), it was a done deal. 'Much ado about nothing' was probably an apt way to describe the House of Assembly debate, from which many Bahamians will have learnt little and only got more confused.
