University of The Bahamas (UB) commissioned more than 100 of its candidates for graduation as certified educators at the first of several inaugural ceremonies for the institution this Spring 2017 Commencement season.

The Teachers Commissioning Ceremony was held at the Kendal G.L. Isaacs National Gymnasium on Tuesday, 23rd May 2017 under the theme: Dawn of A New Era: The Power of Perseverance.

The aspiring teachers were encouraged to persevere no matter the challenges they face in the future and to uphold the standards of excellence of this noble profession.
