POLICE discovered the tied-up body of a man with gunshot injuries on a track road near Lyford Cay over the weekend.

The body was found off Western Road, with both arms and legs tied, between the residential community and Mount Pleasant on Saturday morning.

The victim was wearing a black T-shirt and grey sweat pants when he was found by police shortly after 11.30am.

Up to press time, police had not yet confirmed the age, nationality, and residence of the deceased. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
