Regulators, Flyers even their respective NPBA championship series

The New Providence Basketball Association (NPBA) Division I and II Championships continued at the A.F. Adderley Gymnasium over the weekend.
In division one action, the Mr. Ship It Regulators evened the series against the MailBoat Cybots, scoring a dominant 96-74 win on Saturday night, just one night after suffering a heartbreaking 84-83 loss. The series is now knotted at two, and game five will be played tonight at A.F. Adderley Gymnasium.
On Saturday, the Regulators used their advantage on the inside to create opportunities. They scored 60 of their 96 points in the paint and out-rebounded the Cybots, 42-29.
Gamaliel Rose led the Regulators with a double-double of 29 points and 10 rebounds. Eugene Bain added 25 points and 19 rebounds. Simon Cruz and Brian Bain chipped in with 10 points apiece.
Lerecus Armbrister led the Cybots with 19 points and three assists. Earnest Saunders added 13, and Delvonne Duncombe finished with 12.
On Friday night, Armbrister scored the game-winning basket for the Cybots on a drive to the rim with time expiring.
Livingston Munnings led the Cybots in that game with a double-double of 26 points and 18 rebounds. Ernest Saunders had 19 points in the game for the Cybots and Dominique Beadle added nine.
Eugene Bain was the Regulators top scorer in Friday's game. He finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds on 6-for-16 shooting from the field. Brian Bain finished with 15 points and Gamaliel Rose and Carlos Thompson had 11 points each.
Division one action continues tonight at A.F. Adderley. Game five of the best-of-seven series begins at 8:30 p.m.
In division two action, the Flyers managed to even that series at 2-2 on Saturday, after dropping game three on Friday.
In game four, Chistorr Stuart and Horris McKenzie led the Truckers with 22 points each. Jeremy Neely led all scores with 28 for the High Flyers. Travis Stuart chipped in with 17 and Devontee Gibson added 11.
The High Flyers out-rebounded the Truckers 64-45 and were able to convert 21 points off of turnovers.
On Friday, the Truckers scored a 74-68 win.
The best-of-five series comes to a close tonight at A.F. Adderley.
