Two people have died in a shooting at a San Bernardino elementary school.

A shooter entered North Park Elementary School on Monday morning, opening fire in one of the classrooms.

The shooter and teacher were both killed and two students were taken to hospital. Their condition is not known.

San Bernardino Police Chief Jarrod Burguan said the incident appeared to be an attempted murder suicide.

NBC reports that the shooter went to the school to settle a domestic dispute with the teacher.
