Addis T. Huyler, founder and executive producer of The Bahamian Icon Awards expressed, “The Bahamian Icon Awards celebrates greatness. The award recognizes Bahamian citizens who have exemplified the best intentions of the Bahamian Spirit; that of excellence and achievement. As an outstanding corporate citizen, we are so pleased to have Scotiabank as a part of our team this year.”

“Our goal for the Rising Star Icon is to continue to foster and encourage a mindset of relevance, value and validity in our young people. With this award, we hope to continue a conversation that involves our young people about how we can and should move the country forward,” continued Huyler.
