My Friend, have you set some goals for yourself which you've almost achieved, and yet a series of road blocks, so to speak, keep popping up as you endeavor to finally reach your goal? Now I'm quite sure, that the answer to that question will indeed be in the affirmative with a whole lot of people. Yes indeed, the way before us to Success City seems to be, as today's title puts it 'So Near And Yet So Far'.

Well My Friend, there's a phrase which I guess I've been familiar with since I was a teenager growing up in Ireland and it goes like this; "The longest mile is the last mile home" ..... oh how absolutely true that is! My Friend, when you're almost there and the Scent of Success is in the air as Success City is in fact in sight; believe me so often this is the time when we are tested in an extreme way, which unfortunately results in some people actually giving up, quitting in pursuit of a goal which was almost within their grasp. This is very sad to observe, as the success they seek is just around the next corner.

Yes indeed, it's sad to observe so many people who quit the pursuit of their dreams when things get tough, when they're in the home stretch, so to speak with the Scent of Success everywhere. It's 'So Near and Yet So Far'. But My Friend, it is indeed attainable provided we don't throw in the towel prematurely.

My Friend, you will be tested again and again in life, which provided you don't quit will bring out the very best in you and strengthen you so that you will indeed succeed more often than you fail. So please, I implore you DO NOT QUIT for success is indeed on its way for you. All it takes is belief in yourself plus a large dose of persistence and you will finally reach The Promise Land, believe me!
