GAC, the global shipping, logistics and marine services provider, has strengthened its global network by signing an alliance agreement with Bahamian agency, Elnet Maritime Company, forming GAC-Elnet with effect from March 1, 2011.

Elnet Maritime Company was formed by then 28-year-old shipping veteran Elbert 'Ellie' Hepburn in 2008, after he served in a variety of managerial positions at agencies in Grand Bahama. Since then, the company has provided agency services to principals with vessels calling at ports throughout the Bahamas.
