Another successful release exercise of newly hatched green sea turtles was recently carried out by Atlantis’ Water Features Department. This latest release exercise, with some 63 turtles in all, is a part of an on-going initiative to ensure the longevity of the now endangered species of turtle. The belief is that the sooner the hatchlings get to the ocean, the better their chance of survival is.
