CEO of Scholar Books Albert Cox has partnered with multi-million dollar publishing house Thomson-Shore.
The deal was inked this week between the two publishing houses. Thomson-Shore is located in Dexter, Michigan.
According to a press statement, the new joint partnership creates a new powerhouse, larger opportunities and stronger global representation worldwide.
The press statement described Thomson-Shore as "one of the world's largest book manufacturing and distribution giants" and "as one of the leaders in the publishing world, on par with Random House and Penguin".
Cox established Scholar Books, a Bahamian-owned book publishing company, in Nassau, Bahamas a decade ago.
He stated that the company's reach is everywhere and that Scholar Books allows Bahamians the ability to place their ideas, stories and creative minds anywhere in the world.
Cox stressed that Scholar Books is a true book publishing company, where writers are offered contracts, marketing and distribution opportunities.
He noted that the international alliance sets some ambitious goals and he endeavors to take his company to greater heights.
Production Manager of Thomson-Shore Jerry Friends said, "With Scholar Books, building and expanding its network into numerous subsidiary companies to match their supply and demand of the global market, we are onboard to help Scholar Books increase their network massively."
