Hate for others hate for self

I put up a post on Facebook recently that stated as follows, "People who hate another or others, are in fact suffering from a dose of self-hatred," and my friend, that's the absolute truth. You may dislike another, but you should never, ever hate another, no matter what they have done, which may indeed be completely inappropriate and despicable. But D. Paul you may protest, this person did something really terrible so should I just accept what they did? Well let me answer that question like this.

I wrote an article some time ago about condemning the action while still loving the person. Of course, when people do disgusting, terrible things, we need to correct them. However, we do this by correcting, even condemning the actual behavior they engaged in which we perceived not to be appropriate; however, we make it abundantly clear that we still love the person. So we never hate another although we may indeed hate the person's actual behavior.

If you do insist on hating people for no apparent reason, or for some ridiculous reason like being a certain nationality or race, or perhaps belonging to a certain religion or political party for example, I contend that the real underlying problem which you need to face up to and indeed deal with as soon as possible, is that you lack self-love. You have low self-esteem and actually in reality really hate yourself, and that's why you consistently seem to hate so many people.

So in conclusion my friend, if you are inclined to hate a whole lot of people, you need to first and foremost own up to the fact, that you have very low self-esteem and thus get immediate professional assistance from a qualified counselor or life coach to raise your level of self-esteem. When you finally learn to love yourself, you will in fact love others too. So please, get the assistance you need today.
