PLP Chairman Bradley Roberts called on the Minister of State for the Environment Phenton Neymour to tender his resignation - claiming samples of water taken from the Reverse Osmosis plant in Grand Cay, Abaco proved to be unsuitable for human consumption.
Reminding the public that Mr Neymour had "boldly claimed" that the water at this RO plant was "safe for drinking" and that the foul odour emanating from it would be resolved by the end of 2010, Mr Roberts claimed that the PLP had been proven right, in that although it was odourless, the water was in fact highly toxic.
