US Embassy donates metal detectors to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services

The United States Embassy donated three metal detector machines to the Bahamas Department of Correctional Services on Thursday, February 25, 2016. These detectors have the capacity to detect cellular phones amongst other metal devices.

Displaying appreciation for the gifts were the Commissioner of Correctional Services, Patrick P. Wright, Deputy Commissioners, Bernardette M. Thompson-Murray, Doan Cleare, and other officers from the Department of Corrections.

Ms. Kristin Gilmore presented the equipment on behalf of the American Embassy, Nassau.
