Brave Davis blasts FNM during GB party rally

Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) Deputy Leader Philip Brave Davis, while speaking at a party rally held on Grand Bahama over the weekend, lambasted the Free National Movement (FNM) for “strangling the life out of the island” throughout their term in office.
Davis’ speech was caustic and blunt as he delved into what the PLP considers the FNM’s blunders in regards to the sale of 51 percent of the Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC) to Cable and Wireless Communications (CWC), the outsourcing of large road work contracts to foreign companies and the party’s inability to pull Grand Bahama out of its economic slump.
