This week, Flying Dutchman Liquor Store officially launched its new website www.flyingdutchman.com in the peak of the holiday shopping season. With a responsive design adaptable to both desktop and mobile devices, the online platform offers door-to-door delivery or site-to-shop pickups to the brand’s growing customer base.

“We’ve spent months designing and fine tuning our website to provide the optimal experience for our customers. There is a level of service in the Flying Dutchman retail outlets and we want our customers to have a similar experience while shopping online,” said Fabian Fernander, Marketing Manager at Milo Butler, owners of the Flying Dutchman Liquor Store franchise.

“While browsing the site, customers will see elements of the store in the look and feel of the design. We conducted a soft launch earlier in the month, allowing select customers to test the platform before the holiday rush. We want to ensure that our team provides a seamless experience from shopping online to having the actual product in hand.”

This year, Milo Butler expanded the Flying Dutchman opening retail outlets in Cable Beach and on Carmichael Road with plans for new stores in the future. The original location on Blue Hill Road will also be renovated within the next 18-24 months.

The Flying Dutchman is named after a fabled sea captain. Legend has it he frequented The Bahamas and became the world’s foremost trader of specialty rums during the 18th century. With the launch of the website, the brand is now meeting the needs of the modern consumer. In addition to door-to-door deliver, the site will provide pick up options from any of the three store locations.
