Comets on a roll

WHILE there has been so much attention on some of the top teams in the Bahamas Association of Independent Secondary Schools, the Queen's College Comets have slowly been making some noise of their own in the basketball season.

While the Comets junior boys remained undefeated at 7-0 with a 61-19 rout over the Aquinas College Aces on Wednesday, their senior boys nipped the Bahamas Academy Stars 52-51 yesterday to improve to 52-51. George Zonicle scored a game high 20 points and Devin Carey added 17 in the win. Picard Scavella led the Stars with 14 and Shaquille Demeritte chipped in with nine in the loss.
