Passenger who caused MIA shutdown was not on Bahamasair

Bahamasair recently discovered that the passenger who caused a shutdown of a section of concourse G at Miami International Airport after a bomb-sniffing dog hit on a piece of luggage the person was carrying, was not a Bahamasair passenger as was earlier reported.
Bahamasair spokesperson Phyllis Johnson said the individual who was investigated by Miami Dade police and Transportation Safety Administration officers was not on Bahamasair’s flight manifest.
“After a thorough investigation by Inspector Wayne Woodside who is attached to the Bahamas Consulate Office in Miami, we can confirm that this incident was in no way related to a Bahamasair passenger,” she said.
