Tracy Morgan took the stage to a standing ovation as he surprised the live audience and viewers alike with a surprise appearance at the 2015 Emmy Awards.

Morgan gave credit to his wife and doctors for his ongoing successful recovery. “Last year, Jimmy Kimmel said on stage, 'We’ll see you back here next year Tracy Morgan.' Well, Jimmy, thanks to my amazing doctors and the support of my family and my beautiful wife, I’m here standing on my own two feet.”

Morgan has received overwhelming support from the industry and fans alike since a 2014 car accident that involved his limo and a Wal-mart truck.  The accident left Tracy in a coma for 8 days and killed fellow comedian James McNair. Photo Credit: Jason LaVeris / FilmMagic
