Grammy award winning Country music artist and American Idol judge Keith Urban in concert, and the second HGTV Weekend will make for an amazing first weekend of September in paradise at the Atlantis. Urban, a premier songwriter, vocalist, musician and virtuoso guitarist will take to the Atlantis LIVE stage in the 2,500-seat Imperial Ballroom on Saturday, September 5 at 9:30 p.m.

Anthia Butler, associate director of special events at Atlantis said signing Urban to perform at the resort was a testament to the Atlantis LIVE brand.

"Our goal is to always bring to The Bahamas and Atlantis big name acts ... A-listers, and Keith Urban is a big Country music artist, who has a huge following," said Butler.

Names like Keith Urban go a long way to ensuring that the Atlantis resort is full over the American Labor Day holiday weekend, and gives locals the opportunity to see big name acts at home. VAT-inclusive ticket prices for Keith Urban are $178 platinum, $156 gold and $135 silver. Urban's concert will coincide with Atlantis' second annual HGTV Weekend that will feature the Ocean View CMA Songwriters Series, a sunset meet and mingle and a talk and taste event.

The Ocean View CMA Songwriters Series will feature favorite HGTV stars for an evening of music and fireworks under the stars with award-winning CMA songwriters Rob Hatch, Jim Collins, Jon Stone and Jim Beavers taking to the stage at Ocean's Edge for an intimate complimentary performance at a stunning beachside venue on Friday, September 4.

The sunset mix and mingle CMA event at Virgil's Real Barbecue on Saturday, September 5 will offer the opportunity to indulge in tropical treats and cocktails during a fun, interactive Q&A with Alison Victoria, host of Kitchen Crashers, Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri from America's Most Desperate Kitchens and Tiffany Brooks, HGTV Star winner and host of HGTV Smart Home 2015. The cost is $70.

The CMA Series closes out with a talk and taste event on Sunday, September 6 with mimosas and brunch bites while you mix and mingle with the stars of HGTV. It will also afford the perfect chance for a photo-op with their favorite HGTV hosts. The cost is $55. Three unique experiences, from two separate events will make for one amazing weekend, during the first weekend in September.

"The HGTV element that's happening over the same weekend that Keith Urban will perform adds just a little more excitement to the property," said Butler.

Closing out the entire weekend will be Rob Lake's final magical performance on Sunday, September 6 in the Atlantis Theater. His two-and-a-half month run has been before sold out audiences nightly. Those people that have yet to take in Lake's show need to do so. It's a show not to be missed.

Rob Lake's shows run Wednesday through Sunday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $41.93 for 12 and older; $10.21 for children four to 11, and free under age four; groups of 10 adults or more can purchase each ticket at $27.56; a combo ticket inclusive of popcorn, hot dog and drink is $37.63.

"There is so much to do, but it's what we do best," said Butler. "The first weekend in September is another family weekend, so whether you're into magic, if you're into music or wanting a little more information on fixing up your home, Atlantis is where you want to be because there is something for everyone, so you have a lot of options to come out and be a part of the fun."

In continuing the trend of bringing in the acts that people want to see, Fifth Harmony, the American girl group (Ally Brooke Hernandez, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane Hansen, Camila Cabello and Lauren Jauregui) that formed on the second season of "The X Factor USA" has been signed to perform at the October 10 edition of the Atlantis LIVE concert series. They will also engage in a meet and greet.

"We're really excited to welcome those fabulous girls down," said Butler. "So another great event for families, and we have some exciting VIP packages that are going to be available for that concert, and it will involve a meet and greet, which is our number one fan request."

Diehard "Fifth Harmony" fans that span all age groups and represent countries across the globe refer to themselves as Harmonizers can purchase non-VAT tickets at $75 gold and $55 silver. Atlantis box office hours are 12 noon to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and 12 noon to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday.
