The entrance drive leading from Carmichael Road to The Diplomat Center has been named in memory of the late Dr. Richard Pinder II, former senior vice-president of Bahamas Faith Ministries International (BFMI) and fellowship pastor of Bahamas Faith Ministries Fellowship (BFMF). Bahamas Christian Council president Dr. Ranford Patterson and Pastor Henry Francis, a founding father of BFMI, officially commissioned the street. Pinder was also the founding trustee of the International Third World Leaders Association (ITWLA).

In his years in ministry, Pinder also served as youth minister, deacon, assistant pastor, treasurer, church secretary, Sunday school teacher and administrator. During the ceremony, several speakers shared stories about Pinder's life and ministry, including his son Richard Rinnah Pinder; Speaker of the House of Assembly, Dr. Kendal Major, a friend of Pinder's; Dr. Pepe Ramnath, senior pastor at Miramar Kingdom Community Center, Miramar, Florida; Dr. Richard Demeritte, chairman of ITWLA and Dr. David Burrows, senior pastor at Bahamas Faith Ministries International.

Pinder was among the nine individuals who were killed in a tragic plane crash in Freeport Grand Bahama on November 9, 2014. BFMI president and founder Dr. Myles Munroe; his wife, Ruth; husband and wife youth pastors Lavard and Radel Parks, who was pregnant at the time, and their son, Johannan; pilot Stanley Thurston; first officer Frahkan Cooper; and American Diego De Santiago were on the flight that crashed in Grand Bahama as they headed to the Global Leadership Summit. Pinder's family members along with BFM pastors and members unveiled the street sign on Friday August 7 at the entrance to BFM. The ministry is now preparing to rename the Diplomat Center in honor of Dr. Munroe in November during the 2016 Global Leadership Summit.
