This Saturday, moms will be inspired to embrace a life of health and wellness during a free, 90-minute seminar set to take place on August 8 at Solomon’s Fresh Market in the Harbour Bay Shopping Plaza. The event is a part of the store’s Eye On Health series designed to educate customers.

Participants will receive engaging, practical information on creative lunch ideas, best nutritional food choices, how to eat healthy without busting their budget, along with simple, healthy living steps designed to raise healthier kids.

“There’s always more to learn about getting and staying healthy,” said Angela Lightbourn, marketing coordinator of Solomon’s Fresh Markets, a subsidiary of AML Foods Ltd.

“The goal of the Wholesome Mommy seminar is to help raise awareness of healthy choices and to provide moms with practical strategies that can result in optimal health for their kids. We thought that it was important to engage moms who tend to chart the nutritional course for the whole family. ”

The panel of nutrition and fitness experts is set to include wellness and nutrition specialist Sharlene “Sha” King, the mastermind behind The 101 on Blending classes; Christine Carey, maternal health practitioner and founder of Liquid Nutrition; Rhonda Wright, certified vegan chef, yoga instructor and owner of NaturaLife, a health and wellness company and Jheaneale Bahadosingh, a personal trainer, massage therapist and wellness consultant.

“It’s going to be an information-packed seminar set against a fun and social backdrop. We’re encouraging moms and moms-to-be to come out and benefit from our local experts,” said Ms Lightbourn.

The seminar runs from 4pm to 5:30 pm. Interested persons are asked to register online at www.solomonsfreshmarkets.com.
