It's a purifying process

Let's face it, no one likes going through the difficult times in life when everything appears to be going wrong, and we're having great difficulty in coping with our everyday lives. Yes my friend, it's not always smooth sailing, as that well-known saying puts it. Indeed, so often we have to proceed through very stormy times when just about everything seems to be falling apart in all phases of our overall life and we're suffering a whole lot. Believe me, I've been there and done that, as the saying goes and it's not pleasant at all, to put it mildly.

Well I was listening to Joel Osteen on television recently and he was talking about getting through difficult times in our lives and how to handle them. Firstly, he stated that these times of grief, of coping with failure are quite normal in life. However, he stated that we need to see them as a positive part of our overall life, and not as something negative as they will ultimately lead to growth and thus finally on to great success. Joel further stated, that when we are going through difficult times, in fact it's a purifying process. Yes it is.

When we go through great difficulties it makes us a whole lot stronger as we deal with the negative qualities in our character and thus finally eliminate them whilst going through these trying times. You know, to make really good quality, very tough steel, it has to be put in the hottest part of the furnace so that they can burn off the impurities. After doing this several times, putting the steel in the hot furnace and then plunging it in water, eventually all of the impurities are removed and the steel is very strong. It's the same process with life -- it's a purifying process.

I do sincerely hope today's article will be of assistance to those who have been having some severe difficulties in any phase of their overall life. The difficulties you experience, the times you get in hot water as the saying goes are all a part of the purifying process. It's all a part of the growth cycle that we all need to go through so that we can emerge from the process much stronger and better equipped for battle, thus being victorious in the end and gaining entry to success city.
