NASSAU, Bahamas -- able Bahamas has announced that its intensive "Turn Us On" mobile campaign will climax with a celebration at Fort Charlotte on Saturday, June 20, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The REV Jam Fest will include free food and beverages, activities for kids and entertainment from some of the top music artists in The Bahamas on the big stage.
Since its launch in January, Cable Bahamas' innovative "Turn Us On" initiative has been leading up to this major event where the company and its many supporters will come together to celebrate cellular competition in The Bahamas. The social media campaign, which explained the benefits of Cable Bahamas winning the cellular licence, saw hundreds of Bahamians participating in a variety of contests on the company's Facebook and Twitter pages to win weekly giveaways. And, in anticipation of the event, over 1,700 Cable Bahamas supporters signed up to become a member of the "Turn Us On" VIP mailing list, which grants them access to free merchandise, VIP privileges and prizes at the REV Jam Fest.
Come June 20, Cable Bahamas will give back to these VIP supporters and other event attendees in a major way. The company has planned an exciting celebration full of surprises, entertainment and giveaways. Guests will have the pleasure of enjoying free culinary treats, a Junkanoo rush-out, musical performances by Bodine Johnson, Tingum Dem band, Bahamas Rat Pack, including DMac, M-Deez and Sammie Starr, and the Bahamas All-Stars marching band, along with other festivities.
