After more than six months since the launch of EZTrak GPS, this startup company has surpassed its initial projections in a short period of time.

In July 2014, EZTrak GPS introduced a superior real-time web based GPS device to the Bahamian market with one thousand units.

“We are thrilled to have sold more than seven hundred units, but our work does not end here.” says Geovanie Rodgers. “Our company realizes that many businesses have difficulty maintaining and keeping track of their equipment, especially if it is on wheels. But whether a business has two (2) cars or a fleet of two hundred (200) vehicles, a GPS tracking device makes things easier for them.”

EZTrak GPS devices are versatile because they assist companies in controlling expenditure related to refueling, maintenance, managing productivity, and improving efficiency all through signals from GPS satellites which can be monitored on a computer or a smart device.

The GPS tracking device could be regarded as the modern day equivalent of placing a full time manager in each company vehicle, as such over twenty five (25) local businesses have implemented tracking devices not only in their vehicles, but also in all of their fleet. EZTrak GPS is now expanding the customer base to the average Bahamian consumer which they hope to see an increase in sales by five percent.

Shanley Toote of Caribbean Landscape said thanks to EZTRAKGPS they know where their vehicles are at all times. The fuel consumption has decreased tremendously as all of their vehicles are now only being used for company business.

Rodgers indicated, “After noting that some eight hundred and seventy nine (879) vehicles were stolen in 2014, we decided to partner with local insurance companies such as Star General Insurance, Bahamas First, and Royal Star Assurance, which have all endorsed the device, which in turn providing opportunities for customers to lower their premiums. Our devices are an additional safety feature that could assist in the quick recovery of stolen vehicles.”

EZTrak GPS is now poised to expand their presence throughout the Family Islands and further cement their niche in the security industry which will be an interesting transition.
