The bridal event where wedding dreams begin

Everything needed for weddings, proms and other special events will be showcased at the Buttons Bridal & Formal Wear 27th annual Bahamas Bridal Show to be held under the theme "The One". Over 1,000 patrons are expected to attend the show scheduled for Sunday, March 22 at the Melia Nassau Beach hotel. The Independence Ballroom doors open at noon for the couples who will indulge in wedding cake, food and champagne sampling, participate in wedding demonstrations and have a chance to win their share of $30,000 in gifts.

The full day of activities also includes a spectacular fashion show with a cast of 40 models featuring lingerie, gowns, tuxedos, and apparel for wedding attendants and invited guests. Patrons can also receive ideas for their wedding celebration, learn proper wedding etiquette and receive discounts from most of the exhibitors.

Activities include an exhibition featuring some of the finest displays by 40-plus exhibitors. You will sample wedding cake, food and champagne, see or participate in wedding demonstrations and win your share of $30,000 in gifts including honeymoon stays at Atlantis, Comfort Suites at Paradise Island and The British Colonial Hilton, gowns and tuxedos for an entire bridal party from Buttons, and two round-trip Bahamasair tickets.

Buttons Bridal & Formal Wear manager Makeva Wallace coordinates the show which is executive-produced by COO Tommy Stubbs who created the event in the 1990s to promote wedding suppliers and to help prospective brides, grooms, their families and coordinators better prepare for formal events.
