Police on Thursday charged two men they believe are responsible for two recent murders.
Latario Missick, 29, of Malcolm Allotment, appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt in connection with the January 3 murder of Calderon Hall, who was shot as he sat in his car in front of his home on Deliverance Way, off Malcolm Road.
Missick was also accused of having a firearm to endanger the lives of Johnny Guerrier and Advardo Ferguson on the same date.
He was not required to plea to the charges and was denied bail.
Missick returns to court in March when the matter is expected to be transferred to the Supreme Court for trial.
Also appearing before Ferguson-Pratt was 24-year-old Anthony Ferguson of Dorsette Alley.
Ferguson is charged with the December 24 shooting death of Arthur Culmer Jr. who was shot as he walked on Dorsette Alley and Hospital Lane.
Ferguson was also not required to enter a plea and was remanded into custody. He makes his next court appearance in March.
