A young woman who monitors suspected criminals for a living yesterday admitted to breaking the law.
Brittany Alexis Greenslade, 22, of Ocean Club Estates, pleaded guilty to having marijuana at her arraignment before Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
Police found the drugs in her car on October 23.
Greenslade's lawyer, Shivron Gay, said she worked as a monitoring technician at ICS and was studying business administration and management.
He said she planned to continue her studies at Barry University in the spring.
Forbes asked Greenslade if she saw the irony that she was tracking alleged criminals while herself committing a crime.
Asked how often she smoked marijuana, Greenslade replied, "occasionally."
Forbes placed Greenslade on probation for six months.
