After eight weeks, and thousands of entries, Kalik's 2014 Pop The Top promotion ended with a bang on Friday, August 29, with the drawing of a $10,000 grand prize on Arawak Cay.
Hundreds of Bahamians vying for the grand prize were given their final shot to get in last-minute entries enabling them to be eligible for the draw.
While the loyal consumers were hastily completing their envelopes for entry, Kalik offered Kalik Radler samples and hosted a Bahamian concert showcasing Puzzle, Julien Believe and Ira Storr and the Spank Band.
Pop The Top is Kalik's largest annual promotion, and it was sparked this year with the introduction of a new wild cap that allowed consumers to choose from a variety of prize options. Over $500,000 in cash and prizes was given away during the eight-week promotion, with the consumer favorite being over 280,000 free Kaliks.
Once again mini-draws ranging from $250 to $1,000 were given away in nine Family Islands.
As those in attendance at the main draw waited in anticipation, the cement truck holding the thousands of entries slowly spun and finally released the name of the winning entry - Nikisha Russell.
Kalik, the Beer of The Bahamas, congratulated all its winners and thanked Bahamians for their support.
