to the generous staff and management at the Bank of the Bahamas the
Grand Bahama Children's Home received a new washing machine for the
holidays. "Its come at the right time," said Jean Hivert, GBCH Executive
Committee, "as you can imagine we have lots of laundry in a busy home.
This is a perfect donation for us and we thank the Bank of The Bahamas
for supporting our home."  Mr. John Sands, Manager of the Grand Bahama
branch of the bank noted that,  "We are always pleased to help our
community, but I am especially proud to be helping the home and the
needy children in our community..."
