Kingsley Poitier, Cliff Wilson, Glen Wells and Tony Carroll were bodybuilders, who in their prime, solidified the sports power image of The Bahamas. Poitier and Carroll captured Mr. World titles; Wells won a Mr. Universe crown and Wilson a West Indies title.
There was another world-noted bodybuilder in the Bahamian clan during the same era of the 1960s.
Reference is to Arthur Eldon. While he participated at the very same levels as his compatriots, he was never fortunate enough to carry away the top honor.
