Nassau, Bahamas - In its continuing thrust to provide broad, global access to its policies, platform and statements, the governing Free National Movement has uploaded video of its 2009 Convention to its official Party website.

The FNM has also established a new YouTube channel, ?Restoring Your Trust?, and has added a new Video Releases section to its website, where users can access video on demand.

Videos provided via the FNM?s YouTube channel can be accessed by mobile phones for viewing and sharing through user networks around the world.

Party chairman Carl Bethel said, ?The internet makes the world a very small place, so it is imperative for us to stay on the cutting edge of technology and provide Bahamians, particularly young Bahamians, and the world with the most advanced and user-friendly options to stay informed and measure the government?s progress.?

The Party?s national convention, capped off by a comprehensive keynote address from party leader, the Rt. Hon. Hubert Ingraham, provided a report to the nation on the government?s accomplishments to-date; accomplishments that have enabled the country to weather the effects of the global economic crisis.

The FNM, Mr. Bethel advised, will be expanding its presence on popular social networking sites such as Facebook, and is continuing to keep internet users informed through its news releases, photo galleries and multi-media uploads at www.freenationalmovement.org

Ongoing upgrades to the official website will also be incorporated to increase the expandability of user access to information and multi-media from the governing Party.
