Bahamian elected to top accounting body

A Bahamian accountant has been elected to the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA) International Assembly for Latin America and the Caribbean.

John Bain was elected to the Assembly, which advises ACCA's council and works to develop growth strategies for the Caribbean and Latin American region. Its first meeting for its 2010-2012 term will be held in London next month, with Mr Bain representing all countries from the region.
