REGISTRATION centres will be open at locations throughout the country beginning today as preparation of the new Voter Register for the next general elections begins.

The simultaneous opening of multiple centres in New Providence, Grand Bahama and the Family Islands will facilitate an early national voter registration drive, said Parliamentary Commissioner Errol Bethel.

Officials hope that with the early opening of registration centres, the process will be expedited while maintaining its accuracy and sanctity.
