The Bahamian producers of Islands of the World Fashion Week have established two scholarships in conjunction with the internationally-recognised Parsons, The New School for Design, based in New York.

Modes Iles Ltd, an affiliate of Nassau-based financial services provider, the Montaque Group, said the scholarships would allow a promising young fashion designer to attend one of the many summer programs offered at the institution, helping to enhance their skills in various aspects of the fashion industry.
