The Public is hereby advised that registration of voters in New Providence and the Family Islands will be held from Monday through Friday, commencing October 4, 2010.

In New Providence, voter registration will commence at the following locations:-

Parliamentary Registration Department, Farrington Road 9:30 a.m. -- 4:30 p.m.

Town Centre Mall and Marathon Mall 10:00 a.m. -- 4:00 p.m.

General Post Office, East Hill Street 10:00 a.m. -- 4:00 p.m.

Sub-Post Office, Carmichael Road 10:00 a.m. -- 4:00 p.m.

Sub-Post Office, South Beach 10:00 a.m. -- 4:00 p.m.

Sub-Post Office, Elizabeth Estates 10:00 a.m. -- 4:00 p.m.

On Grand Bahama, a voter registration will be carried out during normal working hours at the Parliamentary Registration Department located in the National Insurance Building/Complex as well as the Administrator's office in Eight Mile Rock and High Rock Settlements.

In the Family Islands voter registration will take place at the Family Island Administrator's Office between the hours of 9:30 a,m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.

All applicants for registration MUST be Bahamian citizens, 18 years or older and must present proof of citizenship, preferably a Passport or a birth certificate along with a job or student ID.
