BNT provides explanation on controversial Exuma project plan

The Bahamas National Trust(BNT)said yesterday it has conditionally accepted"the relatively low impact"development being proposed by the owner of Bell Island, which is located in the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park.
Bell Island is owned by the Aga Khan, whose helicopter Environment Minister Dr. Earl Deveaux has admitted riding in with his wife to attend an Abaco film screening. The Aga Khan has an application for development approval before the Ministry of the Environment.
