IBS Build-A-Bridge Challenge challenges students

Twenty-three schools throughout The Bahamas will be competing in the IBS Build-A-Bridge Challenge on April 23rd at the Holy Trinity Church Activity Center. The Challenge is a science competition in which 10th and 11th grade students build a lightweight, load bearing bridge using only Popsicle sticks and all purpose glue.

The event is free of charge to schools, thanks to sponsors. The IBS Build-A-Bridge Challenge is endorsed by The Ministry of Education Youth, Sports and Culture, The Ministry of Works and Transport, The Bridge Authority and the Bahamas Society of Engineers.
