DURING a decade and-a-half span that the Budweiser Eagles dominated the New Providence Softball Association's fast-pitch league, Tyrone Wood played a pivotal role.

Wood, known to many as 'Ron or Figure,' was a talented outfielder who hit the ball with consistency in helping the Eagles to win at least 10 NPSA titles and almost the same amount of Bahamas Softball Federation national crowns.
