THIS is the mother and her young daughter whose lifeless bodies were found floating in the harbour.

And the mystery of their deaths deepened yesterday as police admitted they still have no idea how they died.

The bodies of Amanda Seymour Burrows, 32, and her pyjama-clad five-year-old daughter Kaysha Burrows were pulled from waters behind Elizabeth on Bay Plaza around 7.30am on Tuesday.

There were no visible injuries on either of the victims, and police do not have an official cause of death. However, a source in the force said they were considering the possibility of murder.
