WYNDHAM HITS 95 OCCUPANCY FOR LABOUR DAY

BAHA MAR'S Cable Beach-based Wyndham resort saw occupancy rates of 95 per cent over the Labour Day Holiday weekend, Tribune Business was told, its decision to stage a casino event seemingly paying off.

Robert Sands, Baha Mar's senior vice-president for external affairs and government relations, said: "We ran in excess of 95 per cent occupancy over the Labour Day weekend at the Wyndham.

"We planned and had a casino event this weekend that we marketed to bring in gaming customers. It was very successful for us, and it was an improvement over last year in terms of occupancy levels."
