Local artist looking for help to track down lost passports

A local artist and resident is looking for two British passports that were lost in the back seat of a car at the Lynden Pindling International Airport last month.
Bonny Byfield said she left the passports in a car that she caught a ride in from the arrivals lounge to the long-term car park, and now she desperately wants to get in touch with the driver of that car.
Byfield described the driver as a local woman in her early 50s who was picking up her daughter from the arrival lounge on July 14.
"I saw a woman who appeared to be picking up her daughter and asked her for a ride to the long term car park," Byfield told The Nassau Guardian.
She does not remember the names of the mother and daughter, but described the car as an average sedan. Byfield said she could not remember the color or make of the car because of the brief encounter.
"We did not have much of a chance to chat as it was a short drive and the woman was speaking with her daughter about her trip," said Byfield. "Both passports have dark covering and this may have made it difficult to identify if they fell."
She described the ordeal, "...as a bit of a dilemma", but was still hopeful she would be able to get in contact with the driver, even though it's been almost four weeks.
Byfield was wearing a pink shirt, jeans and pink shoes on the day the she hitched the ride, and has a distinct British accent.
She is hoping that the driver will read this article and contact her.
The passports can be dropped off at The Nassau Guardian's office in Oakes Field or by calling this reporter at 302-2326.
