The Public is hereby informed
that Prison inmate, Moses Morris (D.O.B. September 19, 19071) who failed
to return to prison on Saturday afternoon (April 2) which is the usual
practice for inmates permitted to participate in the Extra Mural Work
Scheme Programme, was apprehended by Prison and Police Officers at approximately
2:30 p.m. today (Monday). He was found in an abandoned boat on Arawak
Cay and posed no resistance at the time of his apprehension.
 

He has since been returned
to Her Majesty's Prisons, secured within the Maximum Security Unit and
removed from the Work Scheme. It is expected that he would be charged
with escaping lawful custody later this week.
