Commissioner concerned at 'level of violence'

POLICE Commissioner Ellison Greenslade has expressed his concern at the level of violence seen in recent homicide cases.

At a press conference at Police Headquarters on East Street yesterday, Mr Greenslade revealed that while significant progress has been made in the recent homicide cases, police are "very concerned about the numbers that have occurred in New Providence."

He said: "I am amazed by the level of violence. We have the ability to do something about it and we must do something."
