Ten Bahamian students were honoured for their achievements in the international youth awards programme. The multi-school event was held at the Bishop Michael Eldon School auditorium and included an array of cultural performances in honour of the royal visit.
Hundreds of school children greeted Prince Edward as he watched the Jack Hayward High School marching band and Junkanoo performances from Sunland Baptist Academy and Total Education Centre.
