THE Bahamas Sports Management Company Limited got the franchise to host the Bahamas Open Women's Tournament for just this year with consideration for another three years.

But International Tennis Federation representative Allistair Williams said he doesn't see why they won't ensure that the tournament becomes a permanent fixture on their calendar.

Williams flew in town from the ITF headquarters in London where he caught the final of the doubles on Friday and the singles on Saturday and was quite impressed with what he saw at the National Tennis Center.
