Roadworks halted after closure row

A ROW between a Prince Charles Drive businessman and a foreign contractor caused work on the government's latest road construction site to come to a halt on Tuesday.

It is believed the row erupted because contractors completely closed the road, blocking access to the business establishment.

When the government announced the start of roadwork last week on Fox Hill Road and Prince Charles Drive, it said the closure would not take place immediately. As work progresses there will eventually be a full closure, but it is expected to last for a short duration.
