Tragedy hits school again

TRAGEDY has struck again at a Bahamas primary school.

An eight-year-old girl was killed when she was knocked off her bicycle in a car accident in Kemp Road, The Tribune has learned.

Tasheka Johnson, a grade three pupil at Uriah McPhee Primary School, was crossing the road on her bicycle when

she was knocked down, a source said.

"She was hit and her bicycle went one way, and her body went another way," the source explained.

"She was broken."

Emergency Medical Services arrived promptly, but are said to have despaired at the child's condition.

Tasheka died in hospital the following day.
