GENERAL SITUATION: DEEP TROPICAL MOISTURE ASSOCIATED WITH MID TO UPPER LEVEL TROUGHS CONTINUES TO BRING UNSETTLED WEATHER ACROSS THE NW AND CENTRAL BAHAMAS. MEANWHILE A PRE-FRONTAL TROUGH WILL BRING SOME SHOWERY ACTIVITY TO THE EXTREME NW BAHAMAS ON THURSDAY AS A POTENTIAL TROPICAL STORM  APPROACHES THE SOUTHEAST BAHAMAS BY SUNDAY.

Monday 26th – Partly cloudy to cloudy, warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms mainly across the Northwest and Central Bahamas today through tonight. Partly sunny, hot and humid with isolated showers today in the SE Bahamas, turning fair and warm tonight. Maximum Temperature 89°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Winds light and variable, but occasionally east to southeast at 5 to 10 knots mainly in the Central and SE Bahamas. Seas 1 to 3 feet over the ocean.

Tuesday 27th – Mostly cloudy to occasionally overcast in the NW and Central Bahamas with scattered showers and thunderstorms but mostly sunny and hot in the SE Bahamas. Continuing cloudy with few scattered showers or isolated thunderstorms in the NW and Central Bahamas but fair and warm in the SE Bahamas at night. Maximum Temperature 87°F and Minimum Temperature 73°F. Winds light and variable, but occasionally east to southeast at 5 to 10 knots mainly in the Central and SE Bahamas. Seas 1 to 3 feet over the ocean.

Wednesday 28th – Partly cloudy to cloudy with few showers or thunderstorms. Mainly fair and warm at night with the chance of isolated showers. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 77°F. Winds variable at 10 knots or less in the Northwest Bahamas and easterly at 10 to 15 knots in the Central and Southeast Bahamas. Seas 1 to 3 feet in the Northwest and 2 to 4 feet in the Central and Southeast Bahamas.

Thursday 29th – Partly Sunny hot and humid with few isolated showers or a possible thunderstorm. Mainly fair and warm at night. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 76°F. Small Craft Should exercise caution in the Southeast Bahamas. Winds southeast to south at 5 to 10 knots in the NW Bahamas, east to southeast at 10 to 15 knots in the Central Bahamas and easterly at 15 to 20 knots in the SE Bahamas. Seas 1 to 3 feet in the NW Bahamas, 2 to 4 feet in the Central Bahamas and 4 to 6 feet in the SE Bahamas.

Small Craft Should continue to exercise caution in the SE Bahamas. Winds southeast to south at 5 to 10 knots in the NW Bahamas, east to southeast at 10 to 15 knots in the Central Bahamas and easterly at 15 to 20 knots in the SE Bahamas.  Seas 1 to 3 feet in the NW Bahamas, 2 to 4 feet in the Central Bahamas and 4 to 6 feet in the SE Bahamas.

Sunday 02nd – Mostly sunny and hot over the NW and Central Bahamas but cloudy to overcast with scattered  showers and thunderstorms across the SE Bahamas. Fair and warm at night except over the SE Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 77°F. Small Craft Should continue to exercise caution in the Central and SE Bahamas. Winds  ENE to ESE at 10 to 15 knots in the NW Bahamas and ENE to ESE at 15 to 20 knots in the Central and SE Bahamas. Seas 2 to 4 feet in the NW Bahamas and 4 to 6 feet in the Central and SE Bahamas.
