GENERAL SITUATION: DEEP TROPICAL MOISTURE ASSOCIATED WITH MID TO UPPER LEVEL TROUGHS CONTINUES TO BRING UNSETTLED WEATHER ACROSS THE NW AND CENTRAL BAHAMAS. MEANWHILE A PRE-FRONTAL TROUGH WILL BRING SOME SHOWERY ACTIVITY TO THE EXTREME NW BAHAMAS ON THURSDAY AS A POTENTIAL TROPICAL STORM  APPROACHES THE SOUTHEAST BAHAMAS BY SUNDAY.

Monday 26th – Partly cloudy to cloudy, warm and humid with scattered showers and thunderstorms mainly across the Northwest and Central Bahamas today through tonight. Partly sunny, hot and humid with isolated showers today in the SE Bahamas, turning fair and warm tonight. Maximum Temperature 89°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Winds light and variable, but occasionally east to southeast at 5 to 10 knots mainly in the Central and SE Bahamas. Seas 1 to 3 feet over the ocean.

Tuesday 27th – Mostly cloudy to occasionally overcast in the NW and Central Bahamas with scattered showers and thunderstorms but mostly sunny and hot in the SE Bahamas. Continuing cloudy with few scattered showers or isolated thunderstorms in the NW and Central Bahamas but fair and warm in the SE Bahamas at night. Maximum Temperature 87°F and Minimum Temperature 73°F. Winds light and variable, but occasionally east to southeast at 5 to 10 knots mainly in the Central and SE Bahamas.
